At the end of Week One, the drive-base has been completed, and the team is making progress in building our prototypes. Although team members are working on competing designs, they are helping each other out to produce the best design possible—through collaboration, the sections of Team 263 (electrical, mechanical, programming and design) are producing the most effective mechanisms possible. When one looks into the Sachem Aftershock Robotics lab, they can see the true spirit of the FIRST Robotics Competition alive in these team members. We are all trying to reach one goal. We all want to be the best, but we know that the only way to do that is to work together. We want to lend out a helping hand, even if we might not see any direct benefit from it, because in the end, we want to see everyone succeed and sometimes, they need a little nudge to get there.
